Robin Welsh’s passion for real estate began early—buying his first home at 18 and owning four properties by the age of 20. By 24, he had bought and sold more homes than many people do in a lifetime. That early drive laid the foundation for a standout career and what is now one of the most respected agencies in the City of Belmont.


“I only paid rent for a few months before deciding I wanted to take a step toward long-term ownership—so I bought my first house,” Robin recalls.


To support that first mortgage, Robin joined the WA Police Service, gaining invaluable experience in communication, pressure decision-making, and accountability. These skills proved essential in real estate, where Robin quickly made an impact—earning REIWA’s Rookie of the Year and Master Salesperson awards after selling 136 properties in just 18 months.


After rising to Director and Licensee at Acton Real Estate, Robin launched WELSH Real Estate in 2012 with a bold, client-focused vision: to build a structured, service-first agency that puts people and process at the heart of everything.

Today, Robin is at the helm of WELSH Real Estate—leading the business, refining systems, and overseeing a standout team across Sales and Property Management. While his sales background is extensive, his focus is now firmly on business operations and delivering consistent, high-quality service, especially to investors and landlords.


In an industry where agency owners are often still focused solely on selling, Robin stands out as a Director and Licensee who is deeply involved in administration and property management—a rare but powerful difference that drives WELSH’s success.

Even outside of work, Robin’s passion for real estate continues. He manages his own property portfolio and treats each client’s investment as if it were his own. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys time with his wife and two kids—both keen basketballers like him—and stays active through running, swimming, and cycling.
